CAMBRIA MAN FACES JAIL TIME AFTER 5TH DWI
LOCKPORT—A Cambria man with four previous drunken-driving convictions faces a mandatory trip to prison after admitting in Niagara County Court Friday that he broke into the home of his Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, took his car keys, stole his car and was pulled over with a blood alcohol content measured at .25 percent.
Adam R. Barry, 35, of Budd Road, is to be sentenced July 21 by Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza for felony driving while intoxicated and fourth-degree grand larceny. The incidents occurred Feb. 3, with the car theft and DWI arrest in the Town of Lockport. Barry’s four previous DWIs occurred between 1993 and 2001.
